dbx

dbx is a database client that ships as a roughly 25 MB binary, supporting desktop, Docker, and CLI use, with no separate runtime such as Java or Python required. It connects to more than 100 databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, MongoDB, DuckDB, SQL Server, and Dameng.

It includes a built-in AI assistant and an MCP server so AI clients can query connected databases as a tool, alongside a conventional GUI for browsing and managing data.

It is written in Rust with a Vue and Tauri front end, and released under the Apache-2.0 license.
