Deep Chat is a customizable AI chat component that can be added to a website with a single line of code. It connects directly from the browser to more than 20 popular AI APIs, such as OpenAI or Claude, or to a custom service of the developer's own.
Its main features include avatars, names, sending and receiving files, capturing photos from a webcam, recording audio from a microphone, speech-to-speech and speech-to-text input, text-to-speech output for responses, Markdown and custom-element rendering, an introduction panel and dynamic modals, and a focus mode that shows only the latest messages. It supports major front-end UI frameworks and libraries, can store conversation state in browser storage, and can run a model directly in the browser.
It is written in TypeScript and licensed under MIT.
