DeepSeek Harness Desktop

A lightweight Tauri desktop application that runs DeepSeek Harness with no Node.js, pnpm, or Docker setup, adding a plugin manager, sidebar, and session rewind.

DeepSeek Harness Desktop

DeepSeek Harness Desktop is a desktop wrapper for DeepSeek Harness, an AI coding agent runtime, built to run with a small installer and zero environment setup rather than requiring Node.js, pnpm, or Docker. It is built on Tauri 2 instead of Electron, giving a smaller install size, lower memory use, and native windows, and it registers a command-line shortcut without overwriting the user's existing shell configuration.

It ships a plugin panel for managing installed plugins with upgrade and uninstall options, a first-run onboarding flow for choosing recommended plugins, self-updating without a fresh download, and optional desktop pet companions. Bundled first-party plugins add a VS-Code-style sidebar, conversation rewind with workspace backup and restore, per-session isolated git worktrees, a scheduler for recurring agent tasks, and a panel for connecting messaging channels such as WeChat, Feishu, and Slack to the local harness.

It is written in TypeScript and released under the MIT license.
