docmd

A documentation compiler that turns one Markdown source into a website, full-text search, AI-ready context and other knowledge formats together, aimed at serving both human readers and AI agents from the same content.

docmd

docmd compiles a folder of Markdown files into a documentation website, a search index, AI-oriented context files, and other knowledge formats from a single source, so the same content serves human readers and AI agents without maintaining separate copies.

It supports plugins, internationalization, an offline-capable PWA output, SEO metadata, themes, OpenAPI-based API documentation, version control across documentation versions, semantic search, and packaging documentation as Agent Skills. It runs from the command line, as a Docker image, or through a hosted Cloud Relay and live editor.
