DocsMint

An open-source, self-hostable knowledge base with rich-text editing, hybrid search and GraphRAG that exposes the same documents to people and to AI agents over MCP, REST, an SDK or a CLI.

DocsMint

DocsMint is a workspace for writing and organizing notes, guides and project documentation, with search that understands related concepts rather than only exact keywords. The same documents are then available to AI agents through MCP, REST, an SDK or a CLI.

Agents can connect to a hosted DocsMint Cloud endpoint over Streamable HTTP, using OAuth-based browser consent or an API-key credential scoped to a workspace or category, or to a self-hosted stdio bridge that talks to a self-hosted DocsMint API over Docker; the bridge exposes 20 focused tools covering all 31 operations of the API, plus prompts and resources. The self-hosted application is Apache-2.0 licensed.

Installing the self-hosted bridge needs Bun 1.3.14 or later and an API key created in DocsMint's own browser UI.
