DSCode
A local-first, multi-provider coding agent runtime that defaults to DeepSeek V4 Flash but also supports Codex, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, and other providers, with parallel agent roles in isolated git worktrees and OS-level sandboxing.
DSCode is an opinionated coding-agent runtime with DeepSeek V4 Flash as its economical default, alongside built-in support for Codex, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, and several other providers. It combines provider-aware model routing with local sessions, safe patching, parallel agents, and OS sandboxing, keeping the runtime local and inspectable rather than trying to out-feature general-purpose agents.
DeepSeek V4 Flash gets a dedicated adapter, native free-form patch application, and optional server-side web search; models that support vision can receive pasted or referenced images directly, while text-only DeepSeek models fail clearly instead of silently. A status command reports context, cache hits, tokens, reasoning, and estimated cost. Explorer, implementer, reviewer, and tester roles can run several tasks in parallel, with implementers working in isolated git worktrees while the primary agent owns integration and final validation.
Sessions are stored as local tree-shaped files, commands run in an OS sandbox with network blocked by default, API keys are removed from child-process environments, and every successful patch creates a durable, conflict-safe checkpoint. It is written in TypeScript, MIT licensed, and available as a terminal app or signed desktop app.
