DSH Desktop

DSH Desktop is an out-of-the-box Windows and macOS desktop client that bundles the DeepSeek Harness (dsh) CLI and all of its official plugins with an embedded Node.js runtime, so it launches with a double-click and needs no separate Node.js install.

DSH Desktop

DSH Desktop packages DeepSeek Harness (dsh) and its official plugins into a native desktop app, with an embedded Node.js runtime and CLI so the target machine needs no separate installation. As of version 0.5.0 the desktop shell is built on Tauri 2 (Rust) instead of Electron, giving a smaller install size, lower memory use and faster startup, while keeping existing user data compatible through an in-place upgrade.

It adds a dark, borderless, native-feeling window that minimizes to the system tray, session management (archiving, restoring and deleting conversations), a real-time cost-and-balance widget, and system notifications when a task finishes. A layered self-healing boot sequence automatically repairs bad plugins or configuration and restarts a crashed core in place rather than exiting, and a renderer heartbeat check reloads a hung window automatically. It supports both a portable build and an installed build, and updates itself from GitHub or Gitee releases with SHA-256 verification.

It ships as a Windows x64 installer, with Linux, macOS and a Windows portable build produced by the same release pipeline from version 0.5.1 onward.
