DSH Desktop
DSH Desktop is a community-maintained desktop distribution that bundles the official DeepSeek Harness web runtime with a curated set of community plugins for chat, file, git, terminal, task and worktree management in one application.
DSH Desktop packages the official DeepSeek Harness npm runtime and its official web app together with a set of pinned, tested community plugins, so a user does not need to set up an environment, find plugins, or maintain separate plugin state before starting work; opening the app starts everything from one profile.
The main window is the official DSH web interface for chat, agents, tools, skills, MCP and settings; a sidebar adds a file tree, code and Markdown editing, git, a terminal, and web and extension tabs, and supports multiple repositories, git worktrees and local Markdown images. A plugin marketplace inside the official settings page lets a user discover, install, update, disable and remove plugins, and the app manages window handling, native file pickers, updates and recovery, initializing a new profile from a fixed offline bundle without overwriting an existing one.
An optional, separately pinned remote-access plugin lets a user continue a session from a phone or another desktop over an outbound-only connection; it depends on a third-party account, device directory and relay service, and can be removed if not needed. The application ships signed and notarized builds for macOS and Windows, with Linux and Intel Mac supported by running from source.
