A bundled desktop client for DeepSeek Harness that packages the official CLI with a native window, system tray, built-in Node.js runtime, ten UI themes and a plugin marketplace, currently undergoing a major rewrite.
DSH-Desktop-EAC packages the official DeepSeek Harness CLI into a one-click desktop client, wrapping the community's plugins, themes, tools and memory features around it. It bundles Node.js, npm and the CLI itself so no separate runtime install is needed, and adds a native window with a system tray, shortcut management, process cleanup and task notifications, a file tree with line-level diffs and one-click revert, persistent terminals, and HTML or local-port previews.
From version 5.4 it ships as a single installer with a choice of a full edition, which includes every bundled plugin, or a lite edition, which disables peripheral plugins such as a desktop pet, phone bridge and multi-agent features by default while allowing any of them to be enabled later without reinstalling; the desktop client shares session and API key data with the CLI while keeping its own plugin environment isolated. The current release line uses a Tauri and Rust desktop shell; the project is in the middle of a major rewrite and is not accepting outside issues or pull requests during that period.
It supports Windows 10/11 and Apple Silicon macOS 13 or newer.
