Duel Agents

A routing service and set of IDE plugins that sends a coding assistant's prompts to several language models at once and returns whichever answer wins on cost and quality, reached through a paid gateway API key.

Duel Agents

Duel Agents is a routing layer for coding assistants that runs a prompt against multiple language models and selects the cheapest answer that still wins, rather than committing to one model provider. It is the official integration package for the duelagents.com service: every request goes through the Duel Agents gateway rather than directly to Anthropic or OpenAI, authenticated with a Duel API key obtained from a paid dashboard subscription.

It installs an integration for a chosen tool with a single command, covering Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI and OpenClaw, wiring in the Duel API key and switching the tool's model backend to Duel's routed models without otherwise changing how the tool is used; a companion doctor command verifies the installation. A separate SDK lets a developer call the same routing service from their own applications, agents and scripts.

It is distributed as an npm package and requires a Duel API key for every use.
