A local, open-source AI app builder that runs entirely on your own machine, positioned as an alternative to hosted builders such as v0, Lovable and Bolt.

Dyad

Dyad is a local, open-source AI app builder that runs on the user's own machine instead of a hosted service, similar in purpose to Lovable, v0 or Bolt. It requires no sign-up: a user downloads it and starts building.

It lets a user bring their own AI API keys rather than using a bundled provider, keeping usage private and free of vendor lock-in, and it runs cross-platform on Mac and Windows.

Code outside its src/pro directory is open source under the Apache-2.0 license; code inside src/pro is fair-source, licensed under the Functional Source License 1.1 with a future Apache 2.0 license.
