Festival

An operating environment for long-running AI agent work that keeps plans, progress and decisions in files and Git, so a task can hand off across sessions and tool changes while a person reviews at set points.

Festival

Festival lets a developer hand off a goal to an agent, approve its plan, and return later to review results that trace through the plan, decisions, checks and commits that produced them. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, Cursor, OpenCode or any agent that can read files and run commands, calling one command for the next step and recording each result.

Its installer sets up three components: camp, fest, and the festival manager, available through Homebrew or Node.js. Because progress and context live in files and Git rather than in a single session, work can continue across tool changes and long stretches of time, with review points where a person's decision is needed.
