Figma MCP Server Guide

A guide and reference for the Figma MCP server, which brings Figma design context, components and variables directly into an AI coding agent for generating code from selected frames or converting a web page into a Figma design.

Figma MCP Server Guide

The Figma MCP Server Guide documents how to connect an AI coding agent to Figma through the Model Context Protocol so the agent can read design context directly from a Figma file rather than working from a screenshot. It can generate code from a selected frame, extract variables, components and layout data for design-system and component-based workflows, and, in a feature described as rolling out, generate a new Figma design from an existing web page.

A Code Connect feature keeps generated code consistent with a project's actual components by mapping them to the design system, and writing back to the Figma canvas, currently free during a beta period before it becomes a usage-based paid feature, lets an agent create and modify native frames, components, variables and auto layout using the design system as the source of truth.

Rate limits apply to read operations: accounts on the Starter plan or with view or collaboration seats are limited to a small number of monthly tool calls, while Dev or Full seats on paid plans get per-minute limits matching Figma's Tier 1 REST API. Using the server means agreeing to the Figma Developer Terms, and setup instructions are given per MCP client such as VS Code.

    light-cloud.com

A hosting platform that deploys a static site, a container, or a managed Postgres database straight from a GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket push, with a preview URL for every branch and an MCP server for deploying from Claude Code.

  • ForensicDbg

    forensicdbg.com

A post-mortem debugger for native Windows x86 and x64 crashes, with an MCP interface so AI tools can consume crash-dump analysis directly.

  • Karada.ai

    karada.ai

A CI/CD platform that auto-compiles existing APIs into Go MCP servers, attaches composable middleware, and exposes them through one gateway usable from Cursor, Claude Code, and Windsurf.
