FlyEnv

A native desktop app for managing a complete local development stack, runtimes, databases, web servers, and local HTTPS sites, across Windows, macOS, and Linux, positioned as an alternative to XAMPP, MAMP, Laragon, and Laravel Herd.

FlyEnv

FlyEnv brings the tools a developer normally manages separately, PHP, Node.js, Python, Java, Go, databases, web servers, queues, search, and storage, into one native desktop workspace, without requiring container setup for everyday local development. Runtime versions can be switched per project, and local sites such as a test domain can be created with certificates and reverse proxies for local HTTPS.

It also manages AI coding CLIs and exposes selected local environment capabilities through a built-in MCP server, so AI tools can interact with the local stack. The project positions itself against XAMPP, MAMP, Laragon, and Laravel Herd for users who want a broader stack than PHP alone, and against Docker Desktop for cases where container parity with production is not required. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
