Forge

A Claude Code plugin that turns a one-line feature idea into a spec, a dependency-ordered task plan, and reviewed, tested, committed code, running each task in its own git worktree under a five-phase autonomous loop.

Forge

Forge is a Claude Code plugin that automates the loop of turning an idea into merged code. Given a one-line description, it writes a numbered specification with testable acceptance criteria, breaks it into a dependency-ordered task plan with token estimates, then runs each task in its own git worktree using test-driven development, squash-merging tasks that pass.

A review and verification step checks the code and checks each acceptance criterion against four levels: existence, substance, wiring and runtime behavior. When a runtime failure reveals a gap in the original spec, the gap becomes a new acceptance criterion and regression test, and the loop continues. State is kept on disk rather than in the conversation, so the process can resume after a crash or a context reset.

It requires Claude Code 1.0.33 or later and is installed as a plugin; an optional multiplayer mode adds cross-machine coordination through Ably.
