fspec

A spec-driven, multi-agent harness for running a small software factory, where several AI agents work jobs in parallel from specifications, tracked on a Kanban board.

fspec

fspec (Factory Spec) describes itself as a coding factory rather than another agent harness: multiple AI agents work jobs in parallel, driven by specifications and managed on a Kanban board, with one engine powering both a TUI slash command and an equivalent CLI subcommand.

It installs from a prebuilt binary on macOS, Linux or Windows, or is built from source with a Rust toolchain. It updates itself in place by querying the GitHub API for the latest release, downloading the matching asset, verifying its SHA-256 checksum in constant time against the digest GitHub publishes, and atomically replacing the running binary, leaving the existing install untouched if any step fails; a restart is needed afterward to pick up the new version.
