FTShare-MCP
A hosted, read-only MCP service that lets MCP clients such as Claude Code or Codex query FTShare's financial market data and proprietary technical-pattern factors through natural language, returning structured, checkable results.
FTShare MCP converts natural-language questions from an MCP-capable AI client into standard tool calls against FTShare's financial data service, such as looking up a chart-pattern annotation for a stock on a given date and returning a structured confidence rating, the marked time range, and the interface's own stated reasoning for the classification. The public MCP endpoint is hosted by FTShare; this repository provides only the tool documentation, parameter reference and client setup examples, not the server's source code, and using it requires an FTSHARE_API_KEY from an FTShare account.
Clients configure the key as an HTTP header, with documented setup for Claude Code and Codex as well as generic Streamable HTTP MCP clients. FTShare also offers the same data through a separate Python SDK for programmatic and quantitative research use, and through a Skill for agent runtimes such as Claude Code, Codex or OpenClaw.
