Gemini MCP Tool

An MCP server that lets Claude and other AI assistants call out to Google's Gemini CLI, or its successor Antigravity CLI, to analyze large files and codebases with a bigger context window.

Gemini MCP Tool

Gemini MCP Tool is a Model Context Protocol server that gives an AI assistant a way to delegate large-context work to Google's command-line tools. It forwards requests for large file or codebase analysis to the Gemini CLI, or, since Google retired free access to Gemini CLI in mid-2026, to its successor the Antigravity CLI, so the assistant can use that tool's larger token window instead of its own context.

The backend is selected automatically based on the date and account tier, or can be set explicitly with an environment variable for enterprise or paid-API-key users who keep Gemini CLI access. A separate timeout setting bounds how long a CLI run may take, and the tool surfaces the backend's own errors, such as quota or authentication failures, back to the caller.

It installs with a one-line command and requires Node.js 16 or later plus the chosen CLI installed and signed in.
