Gentle-AI
A deterministic engineering layer that configures existing AI coding agents with persistent memory, a structured development workflow, and evidence-based, bounded review.
Gentle-AI configures the AI coding agents a developer already uses -- including Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Codex and Pi -- adding persistent project memory, a defined workflow, and evidence of what the agent did, since an agent otherwise writes code and forgets everything, with no opinion about the project and no proof of its work beyond asking a person to read every line.
Its Engram feature has the agent write down what it learns as it goes and reach for that record before reaching for the developer again, so context accumulates across sessions instead of resetting. Organic Driven Development (ODD) keeps small, understood changes lightweight while giving larger, authorized work one recoverable feature document, with the agent exploring before changing code and keeping progress current so work can resume without rebuilding the plan.
Strict TDD, when enabled, requires a failing behavior test before implementation and a passing test before refactoring; when disabled, applicable functional checks still run. Receipt-Driven Development, on by default, freezes a candidate change before review reads it, so a review cannot drift, and can be disabled with a command if not wanted. It supports 16 agent integrations in total.
