Godcoder

A local-first, open-source desktop coding agent that sends requests directly from your machine to your chosen model provider, and can build and improve its own agent harness over time.

Godcoder

Godcoder is a native desktop AI coding agent built with Tauri that keeps source code local and lets the developer bring their own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic or any OpenAI-compatible provider, with no vendor backend in between.

Beyond editing code, its Harness mode lets the agent scaffold its own sandboxed workspace, build and refine its own tools and workflows, and record what worked in a persistent memory store so later runs reuse earlier lessons. A separate CoWork mode drives GUI and OS automation tasks such as clicking, typing and sending email.
