Google Tasks MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol server that lets Claude and other MCP clients list, search, create, update, delete and clear tasks in a user's Google Tasks account.

Google Tasks MCP Server

Google Tasks MCP Server exposes tools for searching tasks by keyword, listing all tasks with pagination, creating a task with a title, notes and due date, updating an existing task's fields or status, deleting a single task, and clearing every completed task from a list.

Setup requires creating a Google Cloud project, enabling the Google Tasks API, configuring an OAuth consent screen, and creating a desktop-app OAuth client whose downloaded key file is placed in the repository before the server is built and run.

It is written in TypeScript and MIT licensed, and can also be installed for Claude Desktop through Smithery.
