Gozar
A self-hosted, Docker-first, OpenAI-compatible LLM gateway for local projects and private teams, giving every application one stable API endpoint and key while the gateway manages upstream provider accounts, credentials, two-lane fallback chains and usage limits.
Gozar is a self-hosted, OpenAI-compatible LLM gateway meant for local projects, private teams and developer workflows. Applications use one stable /v1 endpoint and a Gozar API key, while the gateway routes requests through operator-managed upstream accounts, provider API keys, and fallback chains, so client code does not need to be rewritten as providers change.
It offers drop-in OpenAI compatibility across chat completions, embeddings, streaming and models endpoints; a separate API key per app, agent, backend service or team; bring-your-own upstream access to API-key providers such as OpenAI and OpenRouter and subscription providers such as Codex and Anthropic; device-code sign-in for Codex that avoids a broken localhost redirect; and two-lane fallback chains covering both an LLM lane and an embeddings lane, where saved routes are rechecked against current account status and model catalogs so a removed model or unavailable account surfaces before it causes a silent production failure.
It integrates with LangChain and LangGraph by pointing a standard chat client at its base URL, and is currently distributed under the PolyForm Noncommercial License for self-hosted, non-commercial use.
