GPT ALL STAR

A research project exploring autonomous AI agent collaboration for generating a web application from scratch, where a user assembles a team of AI agent roles and states what to build, and the agents plan and carry out each development step together.

GPT ALL STAR

GPT AllStar organizes a team of AI agent roles that pick a leader for each step, have that leader create a plan of action, and then work with the other team members to complete every task in the plan, aiming to validate how far autonomous AI agent collaboration can carry a project rather than to be a finished product. Team members are configured in an agents.yml file that a user can edit to change roles.

It installs as a Python package configured with an OpenAI API key and model name and run from the command line, or, for development, through Docker with a web terminal and Poetry-managed dependencies. The project's current focus is validating client web applications built in React with Chakra UI and JavaScript, and it welcomes contributions extending it to other languages and libraries; a separate companion project provides a simple web frontend that uses this tool as a backend service.
