Harness
A native cross-platform app that gives every local AI coding agent one command center, running each agent in its own tmux pane over an end-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer or relayed connection between machines.
Harness lets a developer run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Devin, Amp, Copilot and other coding agents side by side across a laptop, a home server and a GPU box, all from one native, non-Electron window. A daemon runs on each machine, dialing out so no machine has to open a port, and every agent runs in its own real tmux pane so scrollback, colors and keys behave normally.
Machines link with a password instead of SSH keys or Tailscale, and every path between them is sealed end to end with ChaCha20-Poly1305, X25519 session keys and pinned Ed25519 identities; a relay that forwards bytes when a direct connection is not possible cannot read them. Harness reads an agent's own transcripts and hooks rather than wrapping it, gives each harness its own Git worktree, and lets every key be remapped from one reloaded JSONC file.
Beyond coding, it can also run local open-weight models with Grid, Ollama, MLX-LM and vLLM, and extend into CAD, circuits, robotics, games and music. The app, CLI, daemon, relay and device firmware are all open source.
