HarnessRouter

A self-hosted infrastructure layer that puts coding-agent harnesses such as Codex, Claude Code and Hermes behind one OpenAI Responses-compatible API, handling sessions, streaming, files, cancellation and failure handling through an open protocol.

HarnessRouter

HarnessRouter turns existing agent harnesses such as Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, PI and DSH into interchangeable backends behind a single API, so a product can run tasks, retrieve results and switch harnesses without handling harness-specific integration work itself. It implements the Unified Harness Protocol (UHP), an open standard, and exposes an OpenAI Responses-compatible API.

This Community Edition is self-hosted and Apache-2.0 licensed. It runs as a single Docker container that manages persistent sessions, streaming progress, files and artifacts, cancellation, and structured failure handling, using the operator's own provider API keys and infrastructure. The entrypoint manages per-session users so that each harness's agent process runs under its own account.
