Harnest

A deprecated command-line configurator that detected a project's technology stack and generated matching configuration files for six different AI coding assistants from one interactive wizard.

Harnest

Harnest solved the problem of hand-maintaining separate configuration files for each AI coding tool on a multi-stack project by detecting the stack automatically, for example Spring Boot in Kotlin, Vue in TypeScript, or a Dockerfile, and then running an agent wizard that suggested a matching agent for each defined role, letting the user accept a suggestion, skip a role, or search installed agents by name.

An install command set up six workflow profiles and a shared global configuration framework using marker comments so custom content survived later updates, and a convert command translated an existing configuration from one harness's format, such as Claude Code, to another, such as Cursor or Windsurf. The project's own material states it is no longer maintained and that users should migrate to a successor project called workflows.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
