Hayhooks

A Python tool that deploys Haystack pipelines and agents as REST APIs, MCP tools, or A2A services, with optional OpenAI-compatible chat endpoints and a bundled Chainlit UI.

Hayhooks

Hayhooks makes it easy to deploy and serve Haystack pipelines and agents. It wraps a pipeline or agent with minimal boilerplate and exposes it as a REST API, and it runs as an MCP server so the same pipeline is also available as a tool for clients such as Cursor or Claude Desktop.

It can also expose pipelines over the A2A protocol so other agents can discover and delegate to them, and it provides OpenAI-compatible chat completion endpoints with streaming for integration with Open WebUI. An optional Chainlit chat UI can be embedded directly in Hayhooks with no extra configuration.

Hayhooks itself can be controlled through chat: an MCP client such as Claude Desktop or Cursor can deploy, undeploy, list or run pipelines by conversing with it. Optional OpenTelemetry tracing gives deploy, run and undeploy visibility through a local dashboard. It is written in Python and licensed under Apache-2.0.
