Hermes Browser Extension

A community-built Chrome, Edge, and Chromium side panel that connects a browser's active web context to a local Hermes Agent gateway, a self-hosted remote gateway, or Hermes Cloud.

Hermes Browser Extension

Hermes Browser Extension is a Chrome, Edge, and Chromium side-panel integration for the Hermes Agent runtime by Nous Research, built by a community developer rather than by Nous Research itself. It is not a browser chatbot: it connects to a real Hermes Agent runtime, either a local gateway, a signed-in Hermes Cloud agent tab, or a self-hosted remote API and dashboard, and local or remote API connections can use the models, tools, skills, sessions, memory, and MCP servers already configured in Hermes, while Cloud and dashboard-ticket connections are chat-only.

Bot Mode, added in a recent version, brings a full multi-agent roster into the side panel with instant switching between agent profiles, each with its own model catalog and default model, alongside display names, avatars, and last-activity timestamps sourced from the authenticated Hermes desktop dashboard.

It is not yet published on the Chrome Web Store and is installed as an unpacked extension.
