Horizun Revit MCP

A free, open-source Windows MCP server and Revit add-in that lets an AI client model, document, coordinate and export Autodesk Revit projects through natural-language requests across more than 100 tools.

Horizun Revit MCP

Horizun Revit MCP is a free, open-source MCP server and Revit add-in for Autodesk Revit versions 2023 through 2027, giving an AI client a catalog of 123 tools with 456 named suboperations covering architectural and structural modeling, MEP, parametric families, drawings, CAD-to-BIM conversion, model audits, quantities, Excel, Power BI and export formats such as IFC, DWG and FBX.

Changes it makes follow a verified-write pattern of rehearsal, an explicit target, applying the change, then post-commit verification, and an owner-enabled Python extension point lets a team script Revit-API automation the built-in tools do not cover. It is distributed as a downloadable Windows installer that bundles the server runtime and per-version Revit add-ins, so end users need no Git, Visual Studio or .NET SDK. It is Apache-2.0 licensed.
