Intelligent Terminal

An experimental fork of Windows Terminal with native integration for Agent Client Protocol (ACP) coding-agent CLIs such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex and Gemini, alongside all of Windows Terminal's usual tabs, profiles and shortcuts.

Intelligent Terminal

Intelligent Terminal is a fork of Windows Terminal that adds native support for agent CLIs implementing the Agent Client Protocol. On first launch it auto-detects installed ACP-compatible agent CLIs, such as Copilot, Claude, Codex, Gemini or OpenCode, and installs GitHub Copilot CLI by default if none are found, then walks the user through sign-in.

It adds an agent pane and agent status bar with context on the current shell, agent management, error detection, and command palette integration, while keeping the tabs, profiles, themes, settings, shells and keyboard shortcuts of standard Windows Terminal working as expected.

It requires Windows 10 2004 or later, a supported agent CLI and its subscription, and installs from the Microsoft Store, WinGet, or a direct download.
