Jina AI MCP Tools

A small, unofficial MCP server built on Jina AI's Reader and Search APIs that gives a coding agent exactly two tools: finding a short list of relevant web pages and reading the ones that matter.

Jina AI MCP Tools

jina-mcp-tools is deliberately limited to two capabilities rather than exposing Jina AI's full range of services: searching the web for a small set of relevant results, and reading specific pages one at a time. The project's stated reasoning is that MCP tool definitions enter an agent's context before real work begins, and a broad tool catalog can cost more context and attention than it is worth for the narrow, repeated task of everyday coding research.

It explicitly omits embeddings, screenshotting, image search, classification, reranking and PDF handling, and supports explicit token-based pagination with an LRU cache for large pages. It is described as complementary to, rather than a replacement for, Jina AI's own official MCP server and CLI, which expose a broader Jina tool catalog for hosted access, research tools, images, PDFs, embeddings and reranking.

It is written in TypeScript and released under the MIT license, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jina AI.

    light-cloud.com

A hosting platform that deploys a static site, a container, or a managed Postgres database straight from a GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket push, with a preview URL for every branch and an MCP server for deploying from Claude Code.

  • ForensicDbg

    forensicdbg.com

A post-mortem debugger for native Windows x86 and x64 crashes, with an MCP interface so AI tools can consume crash-dump analysis directly.

  • Karada.ai

    karada.ai

A CI/CD platform that auto-compiles existing APIs into Go MCP servers, attaches composable middleware, and exposes them through one gateway usable from Cursor, Claude Code, and Windsurf.
