Kiro Crew

An open-source, self-hosted development workspace that persists and improves across sessions, running unattended multi-step tasks and scheduled jobs from a desktop app, web dashboard, CLI, or chat tools such as Slack and Discord.

Kiro Crew

Kiro Crew is a persistent development workspace that runs locally or remotely, continuing and improving work beyond a single session rather than starting over each time. It can be worked with from a desktop app, a web dashboard and a CLI, or through connected chat tools such as Slack and Discord, and its default agent runs on a separate command-line tool that must be installed and signed in to separately.

Multi-step tasks can run unattended, recurring jobs run on a schedule, and heartbeats monitor systems until something needs attention; Kiro Crew Apps package this behavior into a purpose-built interface with its own agents, skills, schedules, integrations and backend services for a specific job. It can be installed as a desktop package with automatic updates, a one-line install script on a machine or remote host, a Docker image for always-on servers, or built from source, with Stable, Insider and Nightly release channels.
