Klaat Code

A terminal-native, open-source AI coding agent whose requests are routed by a hosted model called Klaatu to one of six cost tiers per message, so routine edits use cheap models and only hard tasks reach frontier-priced ones.

Klaat Code

Klaat Code is a terminal coding agent, installed with npm, that reads code, edits files, runs commands and asks permission before risky actions — functionally similar to Claude Code, opencode, Codex CLI or Aider. What differs is that every message is routed by Klaatu, a hosted classifier service, through one of six cost tiers (nano, fast, code, reason, heavy, titan), escalating automatically if a task turns out harder than expected; tool calls within a request are not charged, only messages.

Because the routing intelligence, model health tracking, pricing and a code-graph index of the project live server-side at klaatai.com, the CLI itself can stay open source while the routing brain does not. KlaatAI also offers a browser chat product and an API built on the same router.

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
