Korean Law MCP
An MCP server and CLI that lets an AI assistant query South Korea's national statute and case-law database directly, searching statutes, precedents and local ordinances and verifying that a cited law or case actually exists and says what the model claims.
Korean Law MCP wraps 42 APIs from Korea's Ministry of Government Legislation into 10 tools, covering statutes, case law, administrative rules, local ordinances, treaties and authoritative interpretations including those from the National Tax Service. It works as an MCP server for clients such as Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed and Claude.ai, and also as a command-line tool.
Beyond search, it verifies citations against hallucination by confirming that a cited statute or case actually exists and matches the cited content, builds a graph of how one article affects related provisions, diffs a law's text between two points in time, checks whether a precedent has since been overturned, and flags ordinances or repealed statutes that need follow-up.
Recent releases focused on performance and correctness: faster article lookups, restoring citation verification that had been silently failing under request-budget exhaustion, closing a key-exposure issue in search result links, and making the server report explicit failures instead of returning empty or unchanged results when a lookup did not actually succeed.
