LangChain MCP Client Streamlit App

A Streamlit web interface for connecting to one or more MCP servers and chatting with them through a chosen language model provider, supporting OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Ollama.

LangChain MCP Client Streamlit App

The app connects to multiple MCP servers at once, exposing each server's tools to the selected language model and letting a developer test individual tools with custom parameters directly in the interface. It also works in a chat-only mode with no MCP servers connected, for plain conversation.

Chat messages can carry image, PDF or plain-text and markdown attachments, with images sent as inline vision input to models that support it; PDF text is extracted client-side before being added to the conversation. The app keeps short-term session memory and a longer persistent, cross-session memory, logs every tool execution and conversation, supports exporting and re-importing chat history, and can be deployed with Docker. The project is under active development and may still contain incomplete features.
