LangConnect
A managed retrieval-augmented-generation API server, built with FastAPI and LangChain, that exposes collections and documents over REST with PostgreSQL and pgvector for storage and vector search.
LangConnect is a RAG service that provides a REST API for creating and listing collections, adding and deleting documents within a collection, and running semantic search over stored documents, backed by PostgreSQL with the pgvector extension for embeddings.
It is distributed with Docker Compose, which starts both a PostgreSQL-with-pgvector database and the LangConnect API service together, and includes a live-reload development mode; interactive API documentation and a health check are served by the running API at its /docs and /health paths. It requires Docker and Python 3.11 or newer for local development.
