Lantor

Lantor is a local-first, macOS desktop workspace where a user keeps multiple coding agents such as Codex and Claude warm, dispatches work to them through chat, and keeps every thread, task and attachment on their own machine.

Lantor

Lantor gives coding agents channels, direct messages, threads, tasks, reminders, artifacts and attachments so several agents can coordinate real work instead of living in separate terminal tabs. Everything - the desktop app, its supervisor process, its SQLite database, chat history, agent profiles and workspaces - runs on the user's own Mac, with no hosted control plane or cloud workspace in between.

A typical session has a user ask an agent to inspect GitHub issues; the agent turns findings into tasks, and the surrounding thread keeps the rationale and handoff context attached to that work rather than lost in scrollback.

It is written using Node.js, Rust and Tauri, and can also run as a browser UI backed by the same local server.
