Liaison

A self-hosted zero-trust access gateway that shares local language models, databases and internal services over authenticated APIs and browser-based terminals, without opening inbound ports on the private network.

Liaison

Liaison is a self-hosted platform for controlled remote access to local large language models and other private services. It shares local models beyond the user's own network through authenticated APIs and a browser playground, with API keys that can be scoped to specific models, given token quotas, revoked, and reviewed through usage and request records.

An agent tied to a connection can inspect terminal output, draft commands and query databases, with tool access following the signed-in user's permissions and approval required for sensitive operations. Outbound-only connectors reach private networks without opening inbound ports, and browser workspaces cover web-based SSH, SFTP, RDP and VNC, plus direct access to databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch, and read-only browsing of S3-compatible object storage.

It runs as a self-contained Docker bundle on the operator's own Linux server, with identity and access management and firewall policies restricting access by source address.
