LibreDB Studio

A self-hosted database editor and SQL IDE that deploys next to the data it manages, supporting eighteen engines including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and ClickHouse behind one interface.

LibreDB Studio

LibreDB Studio is a database editor that runs as a container, Helm chart, operator, or embedded package next to the data it manages, rather than as a desktop client that needs an open port or SSH tunnel to reach a remote database. Running it with Docker or npx starts a full editor with no build step, and the admin password is printed to the log on first run.

Eighteen engines share one explorer, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, SQLite, libSQL, DuckDB, MongoDB, Redis, Couchbase, ClickHouse, Druid, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Trino, Apache Cassandra, Prometheus, and Apache Kafka, with entity-relationship diagrams, schema diff, and monitoring available wherever an engine supports them. It also offers single sign-on, an audit trail, and AI-assisted queries.

It is written in TypeScript and released under the MIT license.
