MacUp

A free, open-source macOS menu bar app that finds every package manager on your Mac, such as Homebrew, npm, pip, and Cargo, and updates what is outdated in one click.

MacUp

MacUp is a macOS menu bar app that checks every package manager it can find on a machine, including Homebrew, npm, pip, Cargo, and about fifteen others, with no setup required. It lists what each manager reports as outdated, along with release and install dates and any known vulnerabilities, and updates everything, or a single item, with one click by running each manager's own real commands.

It waits for a new release to settle before offering it, a day for ordinary updates and four hours for security fixes, so it does not push out an update the moment it appears.

MacUp is free, open source under the MIT license, and installs on macOS 14 or later.
