Maestro

A cross-platform desktop app for orchestrating a fleet of AI coding agents and projects in parallel, aimed at power users running long, unattended agent sessions.

Maestro

Maestro is a cross-platform desktop app for orchestrating multiple AI coding agents and projects at once. It currently supports Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode, Factory Droid and Copilot-CLI (in beta), acting as a pass-through to whichever provider is configured, so any MCP tools, skills, permissions or authentication already set up for that agent work identically inside Maestro.

Collaborating with an agent to write a specification document and then running Auto Run executes that specification's tasks automatically, each in its own session with clean context, supporting long unattended runs. Git Worktrees let several agents work on isolated branches of the same repository in parallel, Playbooks batch-process markdown checklists of tasks with full history, Group Chat lets a moderator agent coordinate several agents in one conversation, and a built-in web server with QR-code access, plus a command-line interface, let a user monitor and control agents remotely.

It is written in TypeScript and released under the AGPL-3.0 license.
