Maestro

A command-line coding agent built entirely in PHP on the Neuron AI framework, with interactive tool-call approval, multi-provider model support and Model Context Protocol integration.

Maestro

Maestro is a CLI agent written natively in PHP, with every component, agent orchestration, the CLI interface and the event system, implemented in the language rather than wrapping a Python or TypeScript core. It asks for interactive confirmation before executing sensitive operations, and renders diffs, markdown and tool calls in its terminal output.

It can connect to Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Cohere, Mistral, Ollama, Grok or DeepSeek as a model provider, and extends Model Context Protocol servers for additional capabilities. Extensions let a user add their own tools, inline commands and memories. It installs globally through Composer, requires PHP 8.1 or later, and on Windows is meant to run inside WSL.
