MatrixClaw

An always-on, self-hosted local AI assistant and coding-agent runtime written in Go that keeps one durable session across a terminal UI, Telegram and MCP tools, with SQLite memory and human approvals.

MatrixClaw

MatrixClaw runs as a small local daemon, storing session state, files, tool history, approvals, provider settings, goals and searchable memory in SQLite, so a task started in a terminal can continue from Telegram, or vice versa, without losing context. Tool calls that make risky changes pause for approval, and the assistant can switch between OpenAI-compatible APIs, OpenAI Codex subscription OAuth, Anthropic, Gemini and other provider presets.

It can delegate bounded tasks to hidden subagent runs, including its own runtime, Codex or Claude Code, and exposes the same session model to external Codex and Claude Code agents that attach to it. The project describes itself as an open-source, local-first alternative to hosted personal-assistant products, built for personal use such as development, research, reminders and agent workflows where continuity and explicit control matter, and reports a roughly 26 MiB idle memory footprint on Linux.

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
