An open-source curriculum that teaches the fundamentals of the Model Context Protocol through hands-on, cross-language code examples in C#, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust and Python.

MCP for Beginners

MCP for Beginners is an open-source curriculum that introduces the Model Context Protocol, a standardized way for AI applications to connect to tools and services, through real-world examples in .NET, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust and Python.

It focuses on practical techniques for building modular, scalable and secure AI workflows, from session setup through service orchestration, and is aimed at developers rather than researchers. The course material is translated into more than 50 languages, with a sparse-checkout option to clone the repository without the translation files for a faster download.
