MCP MariaDB Server

A Model Context Protocol server for MariaDB that lets AI assistants list databases and tables, read schemas, run read-only SQL queries, and create and query vector embedding stores.

MCP MariaDB Server

MCP MariaDB Server exposes a set of MCP tools for AI assistants to interact with MariaDB databases and vector stores, including listing databases and tables, retrieving table schemas, and executing read-only SQL queries such as SELECT, SHOW and DESCRIBE, with an MCP_READ_ONLY mode that enforces this.

It also supports creating and managing vector stores for embedding-based search, integrating with OpenAI, Gemini or HuggingFace as embedding providers. It is written in Python and designed for integration with Claude Desktop, Cursor and Windsurf.
