MCP Servers Live Index
A self-updating index of Model Context Protocol servers published on GitHub, refreshed every 15 minutes by a GitHub Actions cron job that ranks them by real activity such as popularity, commits and release freshness.
MCP Servers Live Index queries the GitHub Search API every 15 minutes to discover, catalog and rank newly published MCP servers, aiming to surface real-time activity rather than the fixed snapshot of a manually curated list. Each commit reflects an actual change in the upstream data, items added or expired, so the list stays current.
The published table lists each server's name, a popularity count, primary language, last-updated date, install command where known, and a short description. A companion command-line tool health-checks a user's installed MCP servers in Claude Desktop's configuration, finding stale packages, broken endpoints and renamed packages.
The README is available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese.
