mcp-use

mcp-use is a TypeScript framework for building, testing and shipping Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, ChatGPT plugins and Claude connectors. Zod schemas flow from tools through to structured results, view props and tool calls, so a server stays fully typed end to end.

A scaffolding command generates a server, TypeScript configuration, development scripts, a built-in Inspector, and a React view pipeline; native Views bind React components directly to tools so an app can ship interactive UI inside ChatGPT without custom extension wiring. The Inspector can invoke tools, validate inputs, and inspect Views from the browser or headlessly through the CLI, and a tunnel command exposes a local MCP server with a public URL for testing with ChatGPT and Claude before deployment.
