Meilisearch

Meilisearch is a search engine API that combines full-text and semantic hybrid search with typo tolerance and search-as-you-type response times under fifty milliseconds.

Meilisearch

It supports filtering and faceted search, sorting, synonyms, geosearch, multi-tenant personalization, and a conversational mode that answers natural-language questions grounded in search results; API keys scope which data a given caller can reach, and document relations let records across separate indexes enrich one another's results. Larger deployments scale through replication and sharding.

Example applications in its documentation include finding streaming platforms for a movie through hybrid search, browsing a hundred-million-image Flickr collection with semantic search, filtering an ecommerce catalog by facets and price range, and a conversational search demo for finding holiday rentals. It works out of the box with LangChain and the Model Context Protocol, and a managed Meilisearch Cloud option is available for teams that prefer not to self-host.
