Meowary

Meowary is a plain-Markdown work-journal template for software developers, maintained together with an AI coding agent so that architecture decisions, trade-offs and team context are captured once and recalled automatically before later work.

Meowary

Meowary combines a few established personal-knowledge methods into one system for developers: PARA folders for organizing projects, areas, resources and an archive, Bullet Journal-style daily capture with a morning and evening routine, and a Zettelkasten-inspired knowledge graph with semantic search that surfaces relevant notes before the agent acts. The same agent that writes daily notes is also meant to review pull requests, reading past architecture decisions and team structure first.

Setup clones the repository, runs a setup script and a bootstrap command, and a single generator script produces the configuration for either of the two supported agents from one shared source, so switching agents later costs one command.

It is built as CLI tooling and scripts around plain Markdown files and is written in JavaScript, released under the MIT license.
