Microsoft 365 MCP Server

The Microsoft 365 MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server for interacting with Microsoft 365 and Office services through the Microsoft Graph API. It authenticates with the Microsoft Authentication Library, supports both the global Microsoft cloud and the China cloud operated by 21Vianet, and provides a read-only mode plus tool filtering and presets to limit which of its more than 300 tools are exposed and reduce token usage.

Personal-account tools available by default cover Outlook email and calendar, OneDrive files, Excel, OneNote, To Do tasks, Planner, Contacts and user information, with each tool mapped one-to-one to a Graph API endpoint defined declaratively. Output can be returned as standard formatted JSON or as an experimental Token-Oriented Object Notation format that the project reports cuts token usage by 30 to 60 percent for uniform array data such as lists of emails or calendar events.
